Is 19 years old and has been playing drums on and off for about 6 years. Steven along with Sam has been in the Echoes from the start over 4 years. He is well known for his time keeping and his neat and tidy groove.
Alex Alderson
Is 17 and has been playing piano for many years, and is now at grade 8. Alex joined the band in December 2009. His influences include anything good to do with piano.
Anthony Pengelly
Is 17, lives in Thornbury and has been playing bass since he was 12. Anthony first started playing in a band and singing when he was 14. Mostly doing school gigs in the Thornbury/North Bristol area as the lead singer of The Refrain. He joined the Echoes in early 2010. Influences include the Beach Boys, Reel Big Fish, Robbie Williams, The Blues Brothers and The Beatles.
Chrissie Tincknell
As a child Chrissie studied classical singing, from this she went on to perform at amateur dramatics singing west end songs. She then gained contacts through being in various bands which led her to a big band that performed at top corporate events in and around Bristol. After this Chrissie decided to go on her own and performed up to 5 nights a week as a singer in pubs and clubs around the South West, this lasted for 4 months then Chrissie limited her singing to weekends and missing the band experience she joined the Echoes in October 2009.
Sam Bond
Is 20 years old and has been playing guitar for about 5 years, he is now grade 7 in guitar and teaches. Sam’s favourite music is the blues but he loves playing the classic covers that the Echoes play. His influences include Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hendrix
